What is included in the Price of a Tour?

Perfect accommodations in the perfect locations, delicious local food, top quality bikes, amazing support on and off the route, and of course our world class guides! See the Itineraries for specific tours to see what is included in that tour. Or better still, give us a call and we will be thrilled to answer all your questions.

Is my tour guaranteed to run once I book?

Yes…because we are a boutique operation, we speak with you directly and plan the tour with you before taking payment. If we have a minimum number of guests for a specific tour we may ask for a supplement to confirm your booking if you wish to go ahead with fewer pariticipants. Those supplements will be removed when more guests book and the minimums are met. This way you know your tour is confirmed when you book and put down your deposit. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call us.

Can a Non-Rider join us on the experience?

Yes…and with that said, every situation is different when it comes to non-riders. So please give us a call and discuss. We can help you decide if it’s the right fit, and also plan activities, etc. for those guests. Please be aware that we do charge for the planning and all aspects of accommodating the non-riders, just like a rider. So again, please give us a call, and let’s make it happen!

Are there age restrictions for Children?

Most of our tours are not designed with young children in mind. That said, why not give us a call and we can design a custom tour for you and your family, or create a tour for mutliple like minded families. Again, we’re in the business of creating experiences and making them happen, so give us a call and let’s do it!

How do you accommodate a range of riding abilities?

With one guide for every 6 guests, multiple support vehicles, and expertly planned daily routes, we can assure everyone they can ride at their own pace, and enjoy the day exactly as they want their Best Day Ever to be!

How do you accommodate dietary restrictions and personal preferences?

When booking your tour we will ask for all dietary restrictions for every guest, be it allergies, intolerances, dislikes, and we will ask what your favouites are as well! We will plan to have options available to suit everyones needs and tastes. Again, it’s YOUR experience, and our job to find out what is going to make yours perfect!

How do I book our tour?

Give us a Call! We simply can’t get to know you, or you us, by filling out a form. Give us a call and we will plan your perfect tour together. If you wish, send us a message to request a quote and we will prepare and set a time to chat with you and plan YOUR perfect experience!

What is a Single Supplement?

Quite simply, if you wish to book accommodations for a single person in a room, there is an additional nightly room charge. These rated vary based on the accommodation provider. Please email us or give us a call and we will be happy to get the specific information for you!

What if I have to cancel or reschedule a tour?

Please refer to our “Cancellation Policies” on our Terms and Conditions page or feel free to give us a call anytime to discuss.

Do I/We need travel insurance, and do you provide it?

Quite simply yes. We will refer you to a top provider of Travel Insurance and they will assist you with purchasing the adequate coverage. You can book a tour without this coverage, but be aware we will ask you to sign a disclosure stating that you chose not to and that you accept all responsibility for any costs to you as a result of not having insurance. So, yes, you need it. Give us a call anytime to discuss!

Do you provide assistance with destination travel arrangements?

No. We do not look after travel arrangements outside of the scope of what is included in our tours. We are happy to suggest convenient arrival and departure destinations, along with flight or train schedules that we are familiar with and that work with our tour schedules, however, we can not make these arrangements for you. Give us a call and we are happy to point you in the right direction!

What support is provided on the tour?

We provide transfers from your arrival and departure airports or train stations, we provide one guide for every six guests, daily support vehicles to support your ride so you always have access to tires, tubes, a quick bike adjustment, etc., daily lunches, snacks and hydration on your ride, and hyper-personalized service before and during your trip.

What should I pack?
Essential Equipment
  • Helmet: Crucial for safety.
  • Bike Pedals: (Please bring your own pedals and we will install them)
  • Sunglasses (and clear lenses): Protect your eyes from sun, wind, and rain.
  • Cycling shoes: Ensure a comfortable ride and optimize power transfer.
  • Bike lock: Secure your bike while stopped.
  • Extra Water bottles: Stay hydrated. (we’ll give you one bottle to keep) 
Clothing:
  • Short-sleeve and long-sleeve cycling jerseys: Adapt to different temperatures.
  • Bib shorts or padded shorts: Ensure comfort on long rides.
  • Cycling gilet (vest): Provides wind protection.
  • Arm and leg warmers: Versatile for varying weather.
  • Cycling Beanie and Sweat Band: For varying weather
  • Water/windproof cycling jacket: Protect against rain and wind.
  • Gloves (short and long fingered): Protect hands from cold and wind.
  • Cycling Socks : Keep your feet dry and comfortable.
  • Casual clothing: T-shirts, pants, and comfortable shoes for non-cycling times.
  • Rain gear: Lightweight raincoat, cycling shoe rain covers.
Other:
  • Sunscreen and lip balm: Protect your skin and lips from the sun.
  • Camera and charger: To capture your adventures.
  • Chamois cream: For comfort on long rides. 
How should we tip the guides and support staff?

The typical average tip in the industry is approx. 10 to 15% of your total charge for your tour. Tips are generally split evenly amongst the team that looks after you during the tour. If you wish to tip individual guides, etc, we suggest that be done in cash. It is a great idea to bring some local cash/currency with you for just this reason, however, other forms of payment will be available, such as e-transfers, paypal, and flywire.

Are transfers provided at the beggining and end of the tour?

Transfers from predetermined arrival points (airports/train stations) to your initial place of lodging and between lodging destinations included in your tour, and back to predetermined departure points (airports/train stations) at the end of your tour are included in tour packages.  Please refer to each individual tour itinerary for details, or better still, call us to discuss the options, or to request possible custom arrival and departure points that better suit your travel arrangements for your specific tour.

How to I ensure I have the right size bike and it is set up and fitted for me?

When booking your tour and bike rental, our team will have you submit  a form containing the necessary measurements we require to ensure your bike fit is perfect.  On your arrival day, or first ride day, our guides will also perform a bike fitting to get you set up on your bike before you ride!

Can I bring my own bike?

You may certainly bring your own bike, however, with the availability of our high quality UCI certified bikes, equipped with amazing componentry, we always suggest to save the hassle of shipping, carrying, the costs incurred, and simply worrying about your bike, when we can provide you with a perfect ride for your tour. Do I need to bring my pedals and bike seat?

It is not necessary to bring your seat, but you may if you prefer.

Pedals are a must. Please bring your pedals with you, and our guides will install them for you during the bike fit.

What bike modifications are available?

We do not make bike modifications. With proper planning during the rental process we will provide you with the appropriate sized bike. If we foresee a need for modification (which is rare) we will make those modifications prior to your arrival. During the bike fitting upon arrival the guides will adjust seating position, etc. to ensure you are set up comfortably on your bike.

Do you rent electric assist bikes?

We do not rent electric assist bikes. That said, if there are extenuating circumstances where you or a member of your party feel they must have an electric assist bike, please contact us to discuss, and we will be happy to find a solution or source an electric assist bike for you if necessary.
